About Cutora AI
Last updated: 2026-10-14
Cutora AI (usecutora.com) is an AI-assisted editing tool for talking-head videos. Cutora is an AI-assisted editing tool for people who film themselves talking to camera: founders, teachers, coaches and creators. It makes a first cut from raw footage by removing long pauses, false starts and repeated takes. You finish the edit on a timeline you can change, or by chat, which has real limits.
What it does
You upload one video of you talking to camera. Cutora cuts the long pauses, false starts and repeated takes, and you review the draft on a timeline before you export.
MP4 export, and a ZIP of the edit for DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro with an SRT caption file. Verified in DaVinci Resolve 21; Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro not yet tested by us. English captions work today; Arabic captions are in Beta. Cutora is in Beta. New accounts open in daily batches (early access). New accounts are limited each day, and accounts beyond the limit are saved in a queue and let in from it in batches, in the order they joined. The trial is one video up to 10 minutes, no card needed; exports carry a small Cutora mark.
The limits, the trial and the privacy answers are on one page: Cutora product facts.
What it does not do
- Cutora AI does not remove filler words (um/uh).
- It does not add B-roll, and it does not generate video, avatars or voices.
- It does not edit videos longer than 60 minutes (10 minutes on the trial).
- It does not publish to social platforms.
Who makes it
Cutora AI is built by Mohamed Mokbel, the founder, in Alexandria, Egypt. The project started in October 2026. Questions go to the address below.
